বঙ্গানুবাদ :
একদা, একটা সিংহ একটা নদীর ধারে বসে ছিল। হঠাৎ সে নিজের প্রতিচ্ছবি দেখল এবং ভাবল “আমার কেশর অনেক পুরানো। আমার চুলের একটি নতুন ধরন প্রয়োজন।”
তারপর সিংহটি গর্জন করে বলল, “আমি বনের রাজা এবং এই অবাধ্য কেশর একজন বনের রাজাকে মানায় না!” সে নদীতে তার থাবা ডুবাল এবং মরিয়া হয়ে চেষ্টা করল কেশরটিকে মসৃণ করতে।
জেবরা বলল, “চুলগুলোকে এদিক-ওদিক দোলান। তাহলে আপনাকে মানাবে।” হ্যাঁ, “আপনার চুলে একটু রং দিলে এটা গোঁফের সাথে মানাবে এমনকি ভালো দেখাবে”, জিরাফ যোগ করল। “কিছু ফিতা হলে কেমন হয়?” শকুন জিজ্ঞাসা করল। তারপর হায়েনা চেঁচিয়ে বলল, “আমি জানি, আপনার একটি কাগজের মুকুট প্রয়োজন!” একটি সাপ পাশ দিয়ে নীরবে যাচ্ছিল। সেখানে রাজাকে দেখে সে একটু মাথা তুলল।
রাজা জিজ্ঞাসা করল, “সাপ, আমার কী করা উচিত বলে তোমার মনে হয়?”
সাপটি হিসহিস শব্দে বলল, “একজন রাজা যদি জ্ঞানী রাজা হয়, তাহলে কেউ তার চুলের ধরন নিয়ে ভাববে না।”
রাজা কিছু সময় সাপটির দিকে এক দৃষ্টিতে তাকিয়ে থাকলো। তারপর সে হাসল এবং সাপটিকে চুমু দিল।
“ওহ, কেন আমি এত চিন্তিত? আমি কি বনের রাজা না?” সিংহটি গর্জন করল। সে একপাশ থেকে অন্যপাশে মাথাটি ঝাঁকাল এবং তার কেশর আগের স্থানে আনল। “এখন থেকে আমি প্রতিজ্ঞা করছি যে আমি একজন জ্ঞানী রাজা হবো এবং আমার চেহারা নিয়ে মাথা ঘামাব না!” সিংহটি গর্জন করে বলল।

Read the following text carefully and answer the questions.
Folk songs are the part of Bangladeshi culture. They express rural people's hopes, aspirations, sorrows, dreams, and happiness. Some of the important folk songs are Jari gaan, Sari gaan, Hason Rajar gaan, Vatiali, Gamvira, Nailar gaan.
Jari gaan is a mourning song that is sung during a tragic event in chorus. Sari gaan is related to the life of boatmen. They sing sari gaan while they sail the boats. These songs also tell their sorrows, happiness, dreams and hopes.
Gamvira is a song of Rajshahi region which is actually sung in chorus. This type of song normally satirizes the negative aspects of society. Nailar song is a kind of prayer song sung for the blessing of God. These folk songs add diversity to our culture.
বঙ্গানুবাদ :
লোকসঙ্গীত বাংলাদেশি সংস্কৃতির একটি অংশ। এগুলো গ্রামীণ জনগণের আশা, আকাক্সক্ষা, দুঃখ, স্বপ্ন, সুখের প্রতিফলন ঘটায়। কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ লোকসঙ্গীত হচ্ছে- জারি গান, সারি গান, হাসন রাজার গান, ভাটিয়ালি, গামভিরা, নইলার গান। জারি গান হচ্ছে শোক প্রকাশের গান, যা বিয়োগান্তক ঘটনার সময় দলগতভাবে গাওয়া হয়। সারি গান মাঝি-মল্লাদের জীবনের সাথে সম্পর্কিত। তারা যখন নৌকা চালায় তখন সারি গান গায়। এই গানগুলো তাদের দুঃখ, সুখ, স্বপ্ন এবং আশার কথা বলে।
গাম্ভিরা হচ্ছে রাজশাহী অঞ্চলের গান যা প্রকৃতপক্ষে দলগতভাবে গাওয়া হয়। এই ধরনের গানের মাধ্যমে সাধারণত সমাজের নেতিবাচক দিকগুলোর সমালোচনা করা হয়। নাইলার গান হচ্ছে এমন এক প্রকার প্রার্থনামূলক গান যা স্রষ্টার আশীর্বাদের জন্য গাওয়া হয়। এই লোকসঙ্গীতগুলো আমাদের সংস্কৃতিতে বৈচিত্র্য আনয়ন করে।
