Load-Shedding (200 words for class 8 and 9)
Load-shedding
means the discontinuity of electricity supply for short or long time. Nowadays
it has become a part of our daily life. There are many reasons for load-shedding.
The insufficient production of electricity is the main reason of it. Misuse and
illegal connection of electricity are the other reasons of it. It occurs mostly
at night because the demand of electricity is more than in the daytime. The bad
effects of load-shedding are beyond description. It creates problem in the
socio-economic development of the country. Mills and factories, shops,
hospitals etc. become paralyzed due to load-shedding. The sufferings of the students
like us know no bounds. We sit in the darkness closing our books during the
load-shedding. We suffer a lot if it occurs in the time of our examination. The
patients also suffer terribly because operation stops in hospitals for
load-shedding. Load-shedding at night also encourages the thieves. However,
this problem should be solved at any cost. The concerned authority must take
necessary steps to stop it. More power stations should be established. Illegal
connection and system loss should also be stopped. After all, there is no
alternative to be conscious about the misuse of electricity.

লোডশেডিং মানে স্বল্প বা দীর্ঘ সময়ের জন্য বিদ্যুৎ
সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকা। আজকাল এটা আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনের একটি অংশ হয়ে গেছে। লোডশেডিংয়ের
অনেক কারণ রয়েছে। বিদ্যুতের অপর্যাপ্ত উৎপাদনই এর প্রধান কারণ। বিদ্যুতের অপব্যবহার
ও অবৈধ সংযোগ এর অন্য কারণ। এটি বেশিরভাগ রাতে ঘটে কারণ দিনের তুলনায় বিদ্যুতের চাহিদা
বেশি থাকে। লোডশেডিংয়ের খারাপ প্রভাব বর্ণনার বাইরে। এটি দেশের আর্থ-সামাজিক উন্নয়নে
সমস্যার সৃষ্টি করে। লোডশেডিংয়ের কারণে কল-কারখানা, দোকানপাট, হাসপাতাল ইত্যাদি অচল হয়ে পড়ে। আমাদের মতো শিক্ষার্থীদের
দুর্ভোগের সীমা নেই। লোডশেডিংয়ের সময় বই বন্ধ করে অন্ধকারে বসে থাকি। আমাদের পরীক্ষার
সময় এটা ঘটলে আমরা অনেক কষ্ট পাই। লোডশেডিংয়ের জন্য হাসপাতালগুলোতে অপারেশন বন্ধ
থাকায় রোগীদেরও চরম দুর্ভোগ পোহাতে হয়। রাতে লোডশেডিংও চোরদের উৎসাহিত করে। তবে যে
কোনো মূল্যে এই সমস্যার সমাধান করা উচিত। এটি বন্ধে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষকে প্রয়োজনীয়
পদক্ষেপ নিতে হবে। আরও বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র স্থাপন করতে হবে। অবৈধ সংযোগ ও সিস্টেম লসও
বন্ধ করতে হবে। সর্বোপরি বিদ্যুতের অপব্যবহার রোধে সচেতন হওয়ার বিকল্প নেই।

Load shedding means the irregular supply at electricity. When the electric supply becomes stopped for time being we call it load shedding. There is no definite time for occurring load shedding but definite causes are there, Shortage supply of electricity than demand, illegal connections and various abuses of electricity are main causes of load shedding. The effects of load shedding are beggar description. The study of students is hampered. Some time it occurs at the time of examination and they fall in a fix. Our modern civilization is electric based. Mills and factories, offices, and all kind of electronic media are remain still for occurring load shedding. As a result, economic loses beyond limits which are making a great hamper in our national economic development. So, we should be careful about the uses of electricity. Unnecessary uses of electricity must be stopped.

বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাট বলতে বুঝায় বিদ্যুতের অনিয়মিত সরবরাহ। যখন কিছু সময়ের জন্য বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকে তখন আমরা তাকে লোডশেডিং (বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাট) বলি। বিদ্যুৎ বিপর্যয় ঘটার নির্দিষ্ট কোনো সময় না থাকলেও কতগুলো নির্দিষ্ট কারণ রয়েছে। চাহিদার তুলনায় সরবরাহের অভাব, অবৈধ সংযোগ এবং বিদ্যুতের বিভিন্ন প্রকার অপব্যবহার বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাটের প্রধান কারণ। বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাটের প্রতিক্রিয়া বর্ণনাতীত। শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়ালেখার বিঘ্ন ঘটায়। মাঝে মাঝে পরীক্ষার সময় এটি ঘটে এবং পরীক্ষার্থীরা কর্তব্যবিমূঢ় হয়ে পড়ে। আমাদের আধুনিক সভ্যতা বিদ্যুৎ ভিত্তিক। মিল, ফ্যাক্টরী, অফিস এবং সব ধরনের বৈদ্যুতিক মিডিয়াগুলো বিদ্যুৎ বিভ্রাটের কারণে স্থবির হয়ে পড়ে। ফলে অর্থনৈতিক ক্ষতি সীমা ছাড়িয়ে যায় যা আমাদের জাতীয় অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে বিরাট প্রভাব সৃষ্টি করে। তাই বিদ্যুতের ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে আমাদের সচেতন হতে হবে। বিদ্যুতের অপব্যবহার অবশ্যই বন্ধ করতে হবে।
