Tree Plantation
means planting seedlings in an organized way. The importance of tree plantation
cannot be ignored any more. Through tree plantation our environment remains
balanced properly. Natural calamities cannot occur unexpectedly. Our demand of
food is met up. Oxygen is properly balanced in air. The most important thing is
that ecological balance remains fit for the betterment of the maintenance of
humans, animals and plants as well. If trees are not planted, we cannot get
food, oxygen and different kinds of needful elements. So, there is a close
relationship in between trees and humans. If there had been no trees, the environment
would have lost balance. Floods and drought may occur repeatedly. Lands would
turn into desert place. The rainy season is the best time for plantation of
trees. We can plant trees in the lands which are uncultivable. Road-side,
road-divider, rooftop etc. can also be used to plant trees. We should take some
effective measures to grow them well. We should take care of them properly so
that the animals or other concerns cannot damage them. We can get available
trees from any nursery or Govt. agriculture department. We can take several
actions to make tree plantation successful. We can take part in tree plantation
campaign. The campaign may be held in schools, colleges, universities or in any
other populated places. We may also arrange tree fair in the rainy season. We
should make the people concious about deforestation. Government and NGOs can
play an important role here. We should make the tree plantation programme
successful for a better future.

বৃক্ষরোপণ মানে সংগঠিত উপায়ে চারা রোপণ করা। বৃক্ষরোপণের
গুরুত্বকে আর উপেক্ষা করা যায় না। বৃক্ষরোপণের মাধ্যমে আমাদের পরিবেশ সঠিকভাবে ভারসাম্য
বজায় থাকে। প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ অপ্রত্যাশিতভাবে ঘটতে পারে না। আমাদের খাবারের চাহিদা
পূরণ হয়েছে। বাতাসে অক্সিজেন সঠিকভাবে ভারসাম্যপূর্ণ। সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়
হল পরিবেশগত ভারসাম্য মানুষ, প্রাণী এবং উদ্ভিদের
রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের উন্নতির জন্য উপযুক্ত থাকে। গাছ না লাগালে আমরা খাদ্য, অক্সিজেন এবং বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্রয়োজনীয় উপাদান
পেতে পারি না। তাই গাছ ও মানুষের মধ্যে নিবিড় সম্পর্ক রয়েছে। গাছ না থাকলে পরিবেশের
ভারসাম্য নষ্ট হয়ে যেত। বারবার বন্যা ও খরা হতে পারে। জমিগুলি মরুভূমিতে পরিণত হবে।
বর্ষাকাল গাছ লাগানোর উপযুক্ত সময়। অনাবাদি জমিতে আমরা গাছ লাগাতে পারি। রাস্তার পাশে,
রোড-ডিভাইডার, ছাদ ইত্যাদিতেও গাছ লাগানো যায়। তাদের ভালোভাবে
বেড়ে উঠতে আমাদের কিছু কার্যকরী ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া উচিত। আমাদের সঠিকভাবে তাদের যত্ন
নেওয়া উচিত যাতে প্রাণী বা অন্যান্য উদ্বেগ তাদের ক্ষতি করতে না পারে। আমরা যেকোন
নার্সারী বা সরকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে গাছ পেতে পারি। কৃষি বিভাগ। বৃক্ষরোপণ সফল করতে
আমরা বেশ কিছু পদক্ষেপ নিতে পারি। আমরা বৃক্ষরোপণ অভিযানে অংশ নিতে পারি। ক্যাম্পেইনটি
স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বা অন্য কোন জনবহুল স্থানে অনুষ্ঠিত
হতে পারে। আমরা বর্ষায় বৃক্ষমেলার আয়োজনও করতে পারি। আমাদের উচিত জনগণকে বন উজাড়ের
বিষয়ে সচেতন করা। সরকার ও এনজিওগুলো এখানে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে। সুন্দর
ভবিষ্যতের জন্য বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচিকে সফল করতে হবে।
