ভূমিকা : মওলানা ভাসানীর রাজনৈতিক আদর্শ সম্বলিত কোনো তথ্য নেই। তিনি সময়ের প্রয়োজনে কিছু সংখ্যক পুস্তি কা প্রকাশ করেছেন এবং জীবনের শেষ পর্যায়ে হক কথা' নামে একটি সাপ্তাহিক পত্রিকা প্রকাশ করে।
এই পুস্তিকাবলি, সাপ্তাহিক পত্রিকা এবং এর বক্তৃতা বিবৃতি থেকে তাঁর রাজনীতিক মতাদর্শের পরিচয় পাওয়া যায়।

১৭৯৩ সালে চিরস্থায়ী বন্দোবস্ত প্রবর্তনের ফলে বাংলায় বহু ভূঁইফোড় জমিদার ও সুদখোর মহাজন শ্রেণির সৃষ্টি হয়। এদের অত্যাচার নিপীড়নে অতীষ্ট হয়ে উঠে বাংলার সাধারণ মানুষ। শোষিত শ্রেণির বন্ধু হিসেবে এগিয়ে আসেন মওলানা ভাসানী। মওলানা ভাসানীর কৃষক আন্দোলন
বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে কৃষক আন্দোলন এমনকি কৃষক বিদ্রোহ শুরু হয় তাঁর নেতৃত্বে। রাজশাহীর ধূপঘাপের জমিদার, ময়মনসিংহের সন্তোষ ও গৌরীপুরের মহারাজা এবং পাবনায় সুদখোর মহাজনদের বিরুদ্ধে পর্যায়ক্রমে যে কৃষক আন্দোলন ও বিদ্রোহ সংঘটিত হয়েছিল তাঁর নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছিলেন মওলানা ভাসানী।
শুধু কৃষক আন্দোলনে নেতৃত্ব নয়। তিনি অশিক্ষিত কৃষকদের অধিকার সচেতন করে তোলার উদ্দেশ্য বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে বিরাট কৃষক সম্মেলন আহ্বান করেছেন।
তিনি এরকম একটি সম্মেলনের আয়োজন করেন আসামের ধুবড়ি জেলার ভাসান চরে (১৯২৪)।
এই সম্মেলনে তিনি আসামে বসবাসকারী বহিরাগত বাঙালিদের ন্যায্য অধিকার আদায়ের দৃঢ় সংকল্প ঘোষণা করেন। ভাসান চরের সম্মেলনের সাফল্যের কারণেই তিনি ভাসানীর মওলানা নামে অভিহিত হন। মওলানা ভাসানীর কৃষক আন্দোলন
এই সম্বোধনই শেষে রূপান্তরিত হয় মওলানা আবদুল হামিদ খান ভাসানীতে। ভাসানচরের সম্মেলন ছাড়াও টাঙ্গাইলের কৃষক সম্মেলন (বাং ১৩৩৭),
কামরুপ জেলার বড় পেটার মুসলিম লীগ সম্মেলন (ইং ১৩৩৭), সিরাজগঞ্জের বঙ্গ আসাম প্রজা সম্মেলন (বাং ১৩৩৭),
চারাবাড়ি কাটের কৃষক সম্মেলন (বাং ১৩৩৭), মঙ্গলদই আন্দোলন, কাগমারী সম্মেলন (ইং ১৯৫৯), টাঙ্গাইলের কৃষকখাতক সমাবেশ (ইং ১৯৪১) ইত্যাদিতে মওলানা ভাসানী সর্বাপেক্ষা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখেন। মওলানা ভাসানীর কৃষক আন্দোলন
উপসংহার: পরিশেষে বলা যায় যে, ১৯৩৪ সালে উত্তরবঙ্গে দেখা দেয় ভয়াবহ বন্যা। ভাসানী ছুটে আসেন দুর্গত মানুষের কাছে। তাদের মাঝে ত্রাণসামগ্রী বিতরণ করেন।
বন্যার পরপরই নওগাঁয় কৃষক সম্মেলন করেন। সম্মেলনে অন্যবারের মতোই জমিদারদের বিরুদ্ধে জোরালো বক্তব্য রাখেন। কৃষকরা তাঁর বক্তব্যে একসঙ্গে প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তুলতে উদ্বুদ্ধ হয়।
জমিদারদের বিরুদ্ধে কৃষকদের খেপিয়ে তোলার অভিযোগ এনে ভাসানীকে দ্বিতীয়বার বাংলাদেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করা হয়। এভাবেই নিজ দেশে পরবাসী কৃষক নেতা মওলানা ভাসানী গণমানুষের মুক্তির জন্য ছুটে বেড়ান দেশ দেশান্তরে। মওলানা ভাসানীর কৃষক আন্দোলন

Maulana Bhasani's Peasant Movement:
The introduction of permanent settlement in 1793 led to the creation of many landowning zamindars and moneylender classes in Bengal. The common people of Bengal became fed up with their tyranny and oppression. Maulana Bhasani came forward as a friend of the exploited class.
Peasant movements and even peasant revolts started under his leadership in various regions. Maulana
Bhasani led the successive peasant movements and rebellions against the zamindars of Dhupghaap in Rajshahi, the Santosh of Mymensingh and the Maharaja of Gouripur, and the moneylenders of Pabna.
Not just the leadership in the peasant movement. He has convened large farmers' conferences in various regions to make the uneducated farmers aware of their rights. He organized one such conference at Bhasan Char in Dhubri district of Assam (1924).
In this conference, he announced his determination to get the rightful rights of the non-resident Bengalis living in Assam. The success of Bhasan Char's conference earned him the title of Maulana of Bhasani.
This address was eventually transformed into Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani. Apart from Bhasanchar Conference,

Maulana Bhasani made the most important contribution in Charbari Kat Farmers' Conference (Bang 1337), Mangaldai Movement, Kagmari Conference (Eng 1959), Tangail Farmers Khatak Assembly (Eng 1941) etc.
Conclusion: Finally it can be said that in 1934 there was a terrible flood in North Bengal. Bhasani rushed to the distressed people. He distributed relief materials among them.
Soon after the flood, farmers held a conference in Naogaon. In the conference, like other times, he spoke strongly against the landlords. Farmers were inspired by his speech to build resistance together.
Bhasani was expelled from Bangladesh for the second time after accusing the landlords of extorting farmers.
This is how Maulana Bhasani, a migrant farmer leader in his own country, ran across the country for the liberation of the masses.
