Summary (সারাংশ)
The passage deals with the procedure of forming new words. It also works with root words, synonyms and antonyms. Adding prefix and suffix is one of the common ways of making new words. Root word is the basic meaningful unit of a language. Removing prefixes or suffixes is the way to have root word. Synonym is the word that has the same or nearest meaning of another word. Antonym is the word that has quite opposite meaning of another word. (এই অনুচ্ছেদটি শব্দ গঠনের প্রক্রিয়া নিয়ে আলোচনা করে। এছাড়াও এটি মূল শব্দ, সমার্থক এবং বিপরীতার্থক শব্দ নিয়েও আলোচনা করে। নতুন শব্দ গঠনের একটি অন্যতম সাধারণ পদ্ধতি হলো উপসর্গ ও প্রত্যয় যোগ করা। মূল শব্দ হলো একটি ভাষার অর্থপূর্ণ মৌলিক একটি একক। উপসর্গ বা প্রত্যয় বাদ দিলে মূলশব্দ পাওয়া যায়। সমার্থক শব্দ বলতে অপর শব্দের কাছাকাছি বা একই অর্থ থাকা শব্দগুলোকে বোঝায় । বিপরীত শব্দ হলো অন্য শব্দ থেকে সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন অর্থ প্রদানকারী শব্দ ।)
