Summary (সারাংশ)
This unit is about three women who are world famous. Of them the first woman is Marie Curie. She is a woman who is a Nobel laureate. She is called mother of modern physics. She is the woman in the world who won Nobel Prize twice, first Nobel Prize she won in the year of 1903 and second Nobel Prize in 1911. The second woman is our Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib. She was a brave, intelligent and an amiable mother. She was a woman who's husband is the first President and the father of nation. And her daughter is the prime minister of Bangladesh now. Her daughter says 'My mother was an inspirational woman' to me. Her braveness proved that she was also a guerrilla. So everyone must be inspired to know our Bangamata's biography. The third woman is Jahanara Imam who was a teacher in profession. This lady sacrificed her two sons for our liberation war in 1971. She formed 'Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee to seek justice for the genocide carried out during the Bangladesh liberation war. She is also an inspiration of our society.

(এই অধ্যায়টি তিনজন বিশ্ববিখ্যাত নারী সম্পর্কে। তাদের মধ্যে প্রথম জন হচ্ছেন মেরি কুরী। তিনি একজন নোবেল বিজয়ী। তাকে আধুনিক পদার্থবিদ্যার জননী বলা হয়। তিনি পৃথিবীতে এমন একজন নারী যিনি দুই বার নোবেল পুরস্কার লাভ করেন। তিনি প্রথম বার নোবেল পুরস্কার পান ১৯০৩ সালে এবং দ্বিতীয় বার নোবেল পুরস্কার পান ১৯১১ সালে। দ্বিতীয় নারী হলেন আমাদের বঙ্গমাতা বেগম ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিব। তিনি ছিলেন অত্যধিক সাহসী, বুদ্ধিমতী ও একজন অমায়িক মা। তিনি এমন একজন নারী যার স্বামী ছিলেন প্রথম রাষ্ট্রপতি ও জাতির জনক এবং তার মেয়ে হলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। তাঁর কন্যা বলেছেন 'আমার মা একজন অনুপ্রেরণীয় নারী'। তাঁর সাহসিকতা প্রমাণ করে তিনি একজন গেরিলাযোদ্ধাও ছিলেন। সুতরাং আমাদের বঙ্গমাতার জীবনী পড়লে সবাই অনুপ্রাণিত হবে। তৃতীয় নারী হলেন জাহানারা ইমাম যিনি পেশায় একজন শিক্ষিকা ছিলেন। এই নারী ১৯৭১ সালে আমাদের স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে তার দুই সন্তানকে উৎসর্গ করেন। তিনি বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধচলাকালীন গণহত্যার বিচারের দাবিতে ‘একাত্তরের ঘাতক দালাল নির্মূল কমিটি' গঠন করেন। তিনিও আমাদের সমাজের জন্য অনুপ্রেরণীয়।
