While lying there, he saw a tiny spider trying to reach the cave roof with its thread. Six times the spider fell down, but on the seventh attempt, it successfully reached the roof. The spider's relentless determination inspired King Bruce. He realized that failure is the pillar of success. Bruce gathered his soldiers once more, fought with renewed vigor, and successfully liberated Scotland.
